Thickness

3/16” &  1/4” is great for supported surfaces and small glass inserts. Consider 3/8” or 1/2” where glass “is” the table top. Thicker glass produces a rich, bold look.

Safety Glass

Tempered “safety” glass is much stronger than regular “raw” glass. Consider temper glass for:

• Patio furniture
• Glass with cut-outs
• Stress (e.g. clamping)
